By letter from Cardinal Grech, Secretary General of the Synod of Bishops - it was announced that Pope Francis on 7 july 2023 has appointed Sr Anna Mirijam Kaschner cps to attend the World Synod of Bishops

From 22 August to 12 September 2022, 40 sisters from 19 countries will meet for the General Chapter in the Neuenbeken Mission House. For the third time - after 1931 and 2003 - the Mission House will host this special event, where the future of the Order will be discussed and the course set for the activities of the approximately 700 sisters worldwide. In times of great ecclesial and social challenges, the focus will be on how we can serve God and people and proclaim His Good News.

A General Chapter made up of elected representatives from all the provinces of the Order is the highest body of the Order, which meets every 5 years and will also elect the new Superior General and her Council.

On 1 July 2022, a new era began at the Neuenbeken Mission House.

For the first time, a "secular" administrative director was hired for the branches of the Missionary Sisters of the Precious Blood in Germany.

1 July seems to be an ordinary day in the calendar almost everywhere. But for the Missionary Sisters of the Precious Blood, this day is a feast. A great feast, because 1 July has always been the feast of the Precious Blood of Jesus Christ. The title feast of our Congregation worldwide!

In the Netherlands it is also the feast of the name of our monastery, because the monastery is called "Missionary Monastery of the Holy Blood". So, a great feast!

After 63 years, the Missionary Sisters of the Precious Blood bid farewell to the community in Maria Veen with a thanksgiving service.

Our community in Denmark is often visited by students of film and media sciences to make a filmproject about religious life for their final thesis. Meanwhile the film is published.

31 Sisters from five European countries gathered in the Mission House Neuenbeken from 19.04. - 23.04.2022 to look at and discuss the future of the community.

Today, Provincial Superior Sr. Pallotti Findenig installed the new leadership team in our house in the Netherlands. The house-superior is Sr. Marie-Benedicte Schildkamp.

For her special civil courage, "SOS Mitmensch" honors our Sr. Maria-Andreas Weißbacher with this year's Ute-Bock-Award Sr. Maria-Andreas lives in the monastery of Wernberg (Carinthia) and is described as a "courageous champion for the protection of refugees".
